Alan Warren, CMB
President
Alan Warren is the founder of CREF Source. Alan has been a commercial mortgage banker for over 29 years. During Alan's career, he has completed over $1.1 billion of commercial real estate financings across multiple property types with a variety of capital sources including: insurance companies, banks, CMBS lenders, bridge lenders and private investment funds. Alan’s ability to identify the best match between borrowers and lenders has allowed him to grow relationships with clients ranging from individuals with one property to institutional owners with large portfolios. In addition to financings, Alan has completed investment sales, procured the sale and acquisition of notes, and provided real estate consulting services.
Prior to forming CREF Source, Alan served for 25 years as a vice president and manager of the San Antonio office for Q10 Kinghorn, Driver, Hough & Co. In addition, Alan previously worked with Maxxam Property Company and CBRE.
Alan has a BBA in Economics and Finance from Baylor University. In 2015, he was awarded the designation of Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) by the Mortgage Bankers Association of America. Alan and his wife have four children and all enjoy snow skiing, hiking and fishing.
